Mokhotlong, July 03 — Linakaneng office of Chief within Menoaneng Council J04 remains committed to serving the community with support of the Community Councilor.
These opinions were expressed by Mr. Teboho Mokhachane who on behalf of Chief Mokhachane was stamping documents for the community as a form of authentication ahead of receiving Social Development grants on Tuesday.
He was commenting on working relations between his office and that of the Community Councillor after the media established during tour visits in different Councils the society accuse Councillors and office of Chiefs for communication distortion and breakdown which leads them not bringing necessary documents during grants issuance, especially Basic Education Strengthening Project (BESP).
Mr. Mokhachane stipulated that together with the Council, they held a gathering for villagers earlier, where they were informing them about the issuance of grants, hence his availability to authenticate people’s documents.
