Berea, June 12 — With the King’s birthday celebration scheduled for Berea district fast approaching, Berea District Administrator (DA) Mr. Phahlane Makoko has unveiled before the National and District Celebrations Committee the ceremonial blanket to be worn at the event.
The unveiling of the ceremonial blanket took place during a meeting staged at DA’s boardroom on Thursday.
Berea District will host such a noble event at two different venues of Bela-Bela, St. Theresa ground on July 16 for the district level and Teyateyaneg Pitso House for the national level on July 17.
When addressing both committees, Mr. Makoko highlighted that both ceremonial blankets and the Seshoeshoe clothing are already on the shelves of some identified shops in Berea and Maseru.
Mr. Makoko stressed that the King’s birthday ceremonial blanket is designed in such a creative way which resembles the three Principal Chiefs of Berea district. . . .
