Maseru, Jan.27–The community councillor of Ha Thamae under the flag of Revolution For Prosperity (RFP) Mrs. ‘Malerato Khutlisi is reported to have been released on bail after appearing before Maseru Magistrate court on charges of fraud.
According to a report by the Lesotho Mounted Police Service, Khutlisi and the other 12 suspects are accused of embezzlement of about M60 million from one local fuel company.
The suspects who include business owners, Police officers and members of the Lesotho Defence Force (LDF) are reported to have each been released with bail of M10 000 and surety of M50 000. . .
