BOTHA BOTHE RECORDS 724 NEW INFECTIONS

Botha-Bothe, June 22 — The Minister of Health Mr. Selibe Mochoboroane says the district is recording too many new HIV infections and that will hinder the country from reaching the United Nations 90-90-90 HIV and AIDS initiative.

He said according to international standards each district must record at least less than 500 new infections and not more than that.

Mr. Mochoboroane also explained that there has to be a study that is done to find out why the district is going above the international best practices standards in recording new infections so that mitigation strategies can be put in place…..
