Maseru, June.18 — Disaster Management Authority (DMA) has strongly warned the public to be cautious during this winter season to use safe heating systems to avoid being choked by smoke and arson.
This DMA does following the warning of extreme cold expected in this season by Lesotho Meteorological Services (LMS) due to excess moisture.
DMA has also urged Basotho to take heed of LMS reports to avoid being in vulnerable situations citing that this time of the year is popular for snowfall therefore the public has to be vigilant of such situations.
Moreover, the public is warned against traveling at odd hours thus very early in the morning and at night to the highlands due to ice on the road. . .
