Maseru, Feb.12– Lesotho will join over 158 countries which are expected to participate in the 2025 Osaka Expo to be held in Japan from April, 13th to October, 13th.
The Osaka Expo 2025 will be celebrated under the theme ‘Designing future society for our lives’ and Lesotho will be participating under the sub-theme ‘Connecting lives’
While giving the highlights of Lesotho’s participation in this expo, Ms. Nthabeleng Maphike on behalf of the Principal Secretary of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Business Development said that the country’s significance at this expo will be on trade and investment, tourism and culture as well as nation brand.
She mentioned that the Lesotho Highlands Development Authority (LHDA) is also expected to showcase its development projects as they align with the sub theme through the infrastructural developments that are done in some parts across the country. . .
