EMPOWERING THE FUTURE: OLYMPIC DAY BLENDS EDUCATION, SPORT, SOCIAL AWARENESS 

Qacha’s Nek, Aug.23—In celebration of the three-day Olympic Day (OD) event scheduled for August 23-25, the Lesotho National Olympic Committee (LNOC), alongside key stakeholders, transformed Hermitage high school into a vibrant hub of education and entertainment on Friday. 

Approximately 500 students from four schools—Makhalong, Makhaola, Hermitage, and Qacha’s Nek—were empowered with knowledge on various critical topics, including olympism, human trafficking, road safety, abuse, and crime.

The event, known as Meraka, was filled with adrenaline-fueled activities, including captivating live performances, heartwarming poems, and informative sessions targeted at students. . .
