Leribe, Sept. 27 — With the purpose of supporting ‘Operation Hloekisa Lesotho’, the Department of Environment through the Ministry of Environment and Forestry on Friday engaged in cleaning one of the areas known as ‘Ka Squareng’ at Hlotse in Leribe.
In an interview with the agency, the Minister of Environment and Forestry Mr. Letsema Adonts’i said his ministry is supporting ‘Operation Hloekisa Lesotho’ to maintain cleanliness in every district.
He mentioned that the place was chosen through assistance of the District Administrator, described as one of the dirtiest places around Hlotse.
Additionally, he stated that as they deal with the environment, they know that it has to be kept clean hence his management decided to close the four days workshop they held at Hlotse by cleaning.
