Maseru, Oct.18 — The European Union in Lesotho has announced its initiative of hosting a youth photo competition which is based on a theme “Imagining a Cleaner Future”.
According to the European Union delegation Ambassador Ms. Paola Amadei, this photo competition, which started on October, 9th, aims at harnessing the power of photography to capture the beauty of Lesotho’s landscapes and rivers while imagining a cleaner, plastic-free future.
She said that initiative is linked to the global EUBeachCleanUp campaign which is the EU’s global campaign to raise awareness about marine pollution launched in 2017 which the Delegation joined the campaign for the first time in 2022.
