FACTORY WORKERS ON SHORT TIME

Maseru, Sept 18 – More than six hundred (600) Sun Textile Pty, Lty factory workers in Maseru are on short time starting this week due to non-placement of orders from foreign markets.

Speaking in an interview with the Agency on Monday, National Clothing Textile and Allied Workers Union (NACTWU) Deputy Secretary General, Mr. Tsépang ‘Nyakanyaka’ Makakole confirmed the ordeal.

He explained that as stewards of these workers, they have lost hope as  more workers continue to be on short time due to no orders from the clientele, adding that this is not the first  incident of its kind.
