Leribe, Dec. 08 (LENA) — Due to the floods going on in different parts of the country, Matukeng village has again experienced the horror of water filling up houses yesterday ( Thursday).
The same incident took place in January this year at the same place.
Speaking in an interview with the agency on Friday, District Administrator Mr. Mohlophehi Mohobelo said due to the maintenance of the road going on at Matukeng the water flow was restricted hence the incident.
He explained that the maintenance is not yet completed so the water was not flowing as expected.
Mohobelo mentioned that the alternative road had to be destroyed in order to allow good flow of water. . .
