QUTHING — At least 13 of the15 government wool-sheds in the district have been reported complete with shearing of goats, during the ongoing shearing process expected to end during the course of this week.
In an interview with the Agency, Chairperson of Quthing wool and mohair growers’ association (QWMGA) Mr. Moabi Motlohi highlighted that two wool-sheds that are reported to be behind with shearing of goats and expected to complete this week are Makoae and Sixondo.Mr. Motlohi said the shearing process led by QWMGA is targeting to have shorn more than 28 000 goats.


He further said that classing of the shorn mohair, packaging and paper work to ensure that every farmer gets money one deserves after sales based on mohair quality produced by one’s goats, have also reported to have been carried out smoothly in all 13 wool-sheds for the product to be ready for sale at international market. . . .
