HIKING FOR CHANGE

Qacha’s Nek, Dec. 03 — The Qacha’s Nek Hiking Club has taken a bold step in the fight against Gender-Based Violence (GBV), combining fitness with activism during a mini-hike as part of the 16 Days of Activism Against GBV.

At least 12 members of the club embarked on a trail from a local guest house via Hillside to Mosaqane, donning purple and orange ribbons to symbolize solidarity with GBV survivors.

The hike, which started at 5:00 am and concluded by 2:00 pm, also served as a platform to raise awareness along the way.

In an interview with the Agency, Sergeant ’Mamatheko Bohloa expressed pride in their efforts.
