HPV VACCINATION A SUCCESS IN MASERU DISTRICT

Maseru, Jan. 06 — Vaccination against Human papillomavirus (HPV) among girls aged between nine and 14 years has been a success in Maseru district since its commencement in November last year.

This was said by Maseru District Health Management Team (DHMT) Public Health Nurse Mrs. Matumello Mokuku in an interview with the Agency.

Mrs. Mokuku said although the turn-up was not good in November as students were writing examinations, it changed in December as they began to vaccinate over 100 girls at each site per day.
