KATSE DAM FULL TO CAPACITY 

Thaba Tseka Apr 05 – The Lesotho Highlands Development Authority (LHDA) says Katse dam is full to capacity with a water overflow of 0,021m. 

According to the press release issued by the Public Relations office, the spill started at around 11:30 pm and is expected to increase significantly from April 05.

The release stated that the water will continuously spill during rainy days.

It therefore continued to state that the public is advised to use bridges when crossing Malibamatso and Senqu rivers throughout the month of April 2025 as the water levels, downwards of Katse dam is likely to rise above normal  without warning during the rainy days….
