Maseru, Sept 03 — King Letsie III and his entourage left Lesotho for Eswatini today, Sunday to attend 55/55 double celebration in Eswatini.
In an interview upon arrival at Moshoeshoe I International Airport, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Relations, Mr. Lejone Mpotjoane said the King is attending King Mswati’s III 55 birthday as well as 55 years independence of Eswatini gaining autonomy from colonial rule.
He mentioned that both Lesotho and Eswatini have long standing relations hence the need for King to partake at this august event marking a sense of pride and resilience for the people of Eswatini.
