Maseru, Mar. 29 — At least 300 pints of blood was collected by Lesotho Blood Transfusion Services (LBTS) in preparation of Easter holidays.
LBTS Principal Laboratory Technologist Mr. Khotso Kalake told the Agency in an interview that they have on Thursday (yesterday) distributed most pints of blood to Queen ‘Mamohato Memorial, Scott, Botha-Bothe and Mants’onyane hospitals, saying they are due to distribute another one to Qacha’s Nek hospital as it also made a request.
He said this means the current blood will only sustain the hospitals during Easter holidays, saying more blood will be needed immediately after Easter. . .
