Maseru, Nov. 13 — The Makoanyane Military Hospital has received a consignment of modern medical equipment from the Ministry of Health, made possible through the assistance of Project C.U.R.E. (America).
Delivering her keynote address, the Deputy Prime Minister (DPM) Justice Nthomeng Majara said the donation marks a significant step toward uplifting the standard of healthcare services, particularly at Makoanyane Military Hospital, which serves both military personnel and civilians.
She commended the hospital’s tireless efforts to ensure that every Mosotho has access to quality healthcare, further urging hospital management to ensure that the equipment is used effectively and efficiently to improve service delivery and patient care outcomes.
Echoing her remarks, the Minister of Health, Mr. Selibe Mochoboroane, praised Makoanyane Military Hospital as one of the most consistent and best-performing healthcare institutions in the country. He emphasised that such support is aimed at strengthening the hospital’s capacity to deliver specialized services and respond promptly to emergencies.
