LEPHAILA FAMILY ENGAGES INTERPOL TO TRACE THEIR SON

Maseru, March 01 — The Lephaila family has engaged the INTERPOL in an attempt to trace their son Ret’selisitsoe Lephaila who was last seen on Sunday and has never been seen ever since.

Mr. Thabang Lephaila who is younger brother of Mr. Ret’selisitsoe Lephaila told the Agency on Friday that they have approached the INTERPOL to trace tips which claim that he has been seen in Durban in South Africa.

Mr. Lephaila said the family is still assessing those tips but confirmed that his brother’s signature appears on the names of people who boarded a bus to Durban on Sunday evening.

He also stated that some people claim that he (Ret’selisitsoe Lephaila) was behaving strangely lately but could not confirm those rumours saying he had no history of mental disorder.

Mr. Lephaila also confirmed that his brother’s travelling documents are missing together with his National Identity (ID), which could prove that indeed he went to Durban.

However, he expressed concern how his brother could be surviving in Durban since the transaction he made last Saturday was not enough to maintain him for a long time in a foreign country.

Mr. Lephaila also stated that the Lephaila family has no relatives living in Durban or known friends where he could be staying.

“We only have relatives in Botshabelo Free State and we have a funeral this weekend where we are going to bury one of our relatives there and they know nothing about his (Ret’selisitsoe)’s whereabouts’, he commented.

Mr. Lephaila was a teacher at Sefika High School before his disappearance last Sunday.

He left his home on Sunday morning for a soccer match but did not return home and no reports of any arguments with his wife or any member of the family.
