LIKUENA TO FACE ETHIOPIA TWICE IN FRIENDLY

Maseru, March 01 — Lesotho’s senior soccer squad Likuena will play two international warm-up matches against Ethiopia during the international FIFA break this month.

Lesotho Football Association (LeFA) Secretary General, Mr. Mokhosi Mohapi told the Agency on Friday that Likuena will travel to Addis Ababa on March 19 to face Ethiopia in two matches.

He said this will be during the Men’s FIFA break and that LeFA chose Ethiopia due to it playing similar football to that of Rwanda and Zimbabwe, both which will be Likuena’s opponents in the FIFA World Cup qualifiers in June this year.

Mr. Mohapi also stated that the COSAFA Cup will be hosted June this year from June 12th to the 23rd in Durban, KwaZulu Natal.
