Maseru, May.07—Illicit mining kingpin who is a Lesotho national has been killed in Jabulani Soweto on Tuesday morning.
This is according to press statement from South African Police Service (SAPS) which states that the deceased was traced by Operation Vala Umgodi in Gauteng led by the National Intervention Unit (NIU) since over the weekend.
It states that the deceased suspect who is a Lesotho national has been linked to at least 29 illegal mining related murders in Florida and Nomzamo in Soweto where 16 people were killed at a local tavern in July 2022. . .
