Maseru, Sept. 19 — The Ministry of Health, in collaboration with Stellenbosch University, has launched the Lesotho Alliance for Maternal Mental Health (LAMMH).
The alliance aims to integrate mental health into primary healthcare services, improving maternal mental health outcomes.
Dr. Llang Maama emphasised the importance of supporting pregnant women and new mothers, citing the lasting impact of untreated conditions.
Mrs. Sarah Skeen highlighted LAMMH’s goal of prioritising maternal mental health nationally and providing necessary support.
