LTDC GIFTS LMPS

Maseru, Dec.16 — The Lesotho Mounted Police Service (LMPS) has received 200 reflector vests as courtesy from the Lesotho Tourism Development Corporation (LTDC) in Maseru on Monday.

While receiving this gift, the Commissioner of Police (COMPOL) Borotho Matsoso said that this reflectors comes at an opportune time while the LMPS was aiming at engaging in all possible measures of creating safe spaces for tourists across the country.

He stated that the tourism sector is amongst the top prioritised sectors which is however getting little support saying that it is through such initiatives that the tourism sector can get the needed improvement.

He however stated that there is still a need for further education within communities on how well tourists can be welcomed, accommodated and treated within the country. . .
