Maseru, Sept. 09 — Lesotho Tourism Development Centre (LTDC) has launched the Tourism Month which is aimed at reviving the tourism sector in all its areas, the event was held in Maseru.
Speaking at the event, the Acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Mr. Tebello Thoola said the launch of the Tourism Month is in line with the United Nations World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO) theme ‘Tourism and green investment’.
He stated that the theme emphasises on investments activities that focuses on projects or areas committed to protecting the environment such as reducing pollution, using fewer fossil oils, conserving natural resources and developing alternative energy resources.
