Maseru, Sept. 09 — The Minister of Trade, Industry, Business Development and Tourism Mr. Mokhethi Shelile says the ministry, through the Entrepreneurship Hub, targets over 500 enterprises led by youth and women.
This, the minister said during an interview with the Agency stating that from September 18 to 20, there will be a group of trainer’s trainees leaving for Johannesburg for mentorship in business.
He said the aim is to have local trainers so that they train youth and women in establishing their own enterprises, adding that there will be at least 15 graduates and new intakes in every six month.
The Minister said the focus is mainly on youth and women having realized that they are the ones that contribute to a large number of unemployment.
