M60 000 INJECTEED INTO ‘RE BONTSÉ’ LESOTHO CAMPAIGN

Maseru, Feb. 26–The Marketing and Communications Manager at Standard Lesotho Bank, Mr. Manyathela Kheleli, has confirmed that the Re bontsé Lesotho campaign will receive sponsorship amounting to M60,000, earmarked as a prize for the winning video that meets all promotional requirements set for the initiative.

The campaign aims to showcase and promote Lesotho through creative visual storytelling.

Mr. Kheleli stated that the campaign will be piloted in the Botha-Bothe district, a decision motivated by the district’s deep historical significance.

He explained that Botha-Bothe is the place where Moshoeshoe I first built the Basotho nation before later relocating to Thaba-Bosiu, making it a fitting starting point for a campaign centred on heritage and national pride.

The pilot phase will run for six months, after which the campaign is expected to expand into a three-year programme, implemented in one-year cycles, provided the initial phase proves successful, and will rotate to districts as time goes by.

Mr. Kheleli further highlighted that Re bontsé Lesotho is open to donations from all sectors of society, including individuals, groups, associations, companies, and other interested parties to ensure its long-term success and broader national impact.
