MAAPARA, SETOKO HANDED OPENING GAMES AT WOMEN’S CAF CHAMPIONS LEAGUE

Maseru, Aug. 15 — Lesotho Football Association (LEFA) duo of Polotso Maapara and Nteboheleng Setoko have been assigned to officiate the opening matches at the Women’s Confederation of African Cup (CAF) Champions League, which gets underway in Malawi today.

LEFA’s Mikia Kalati says Maapara is part of the officiating team for the first match of the tournament as the Second Assistant Referee, where Herentals Queens of Zimbabwe will take on FC Ongos of Namibia.

He further said Setoko will be the Central Referee for the second match of the opening day as University of Western Cape from South Africa (SA) go head-to-head with Green Buffaloes from Zambia.

Kalati said both matches will be played at Mpira Stadium Blantyre, Malawi.
