Maseru, Nov 14 – Minister of Sports, Culture and Tourism Mr. Motlatsi Maqelepo says the annual Maletsunyane Braai Festival plays a vital role in the promotion of the tourist sector in the country.
This, the Minister said in his statement he delivered in the National Assembly on Tuesday.
Mr. Maqelepo said this year’s edition of the Maletsunyane Braai Festival will be held from November 24 to 26 this year.
He mentioned that guest houses as well as hotels are already fully booked from Maseru to Semonkong, mostly by South Africans who normally grace the event.
The Minister therefore urged the Members of Parliament (MPs) as well as Basotho in general to support this noble initiative whose aim is to promote tourism. . .
