MAN ARRESTED FOR ALLEGED ARSON

Berea, February 11 — A 30 year-old man, Tseliso Mosololi of Ha Rachere in Mapoteng, was arrested on Saturday morning after he allegedly burned down two houses.

According to Senior Inspector Relebohile Mahula, it is alleged that Mosololi had a dispute with his wife on Friday. The couple was reportedly taken before the local chief in an attempt to resolve the conflict.

It is further alleged that on Saturday morning, the suspect set fire to two of their houses. He was then arrested by Mapoteng police.

Mosololi appeared before the court on Monday where he was charged with arson. The charge was read to him and he remains in custody. He is expected to appear in court again on February 16.
