MINISTER CLARIFIES COMPENSATION

Maseru, Aug. 22 – The Minister of Labour and Employment applead to one Mr. Tsela Ramalefane of Motse- Mocha, Ha Matsepe Mafeteng to report to the Ministry’s nearest offices for thorough assistance about his compensation.

Mr. Ts’eliso Mokhosi said this when responding to question 559 during question and answer session in the National Assembly on Thursday. The Minister was sked if he is aware that Mr. Tsela Ramalefane of Motse-Mocha, Ha Matsepe Mafeteng who worked at Western Holding, President Brand (Boranta) and St. Helen Mines, employment No BA 416371, was diagnosed with an occupational lung diseases called ‘silicosis’ in February 2022 but has to date not received compensation.

According to the Minister, the need for Mr. Ramalefane to report to the offices is vital as this would enable the Ministry undertake its own research in relation to the matter. . .
