Mafeteng, Sept. 27 — The Minister of Education and Training Professor Ntoi Rapapa says the ministry is doing outstanding work in ensuring provision of quality through establishing a college for Lesotho Distance Teaching Center.
He made the remarks during the International Literacy Day commemoration held at Makena High School on Thursday where forty- five learners have been awarded with certificates for being able to read and write .
The Minister said education is a treasure that should not be taken from the recipients even if there is any misunderstanding, saying he appreciated the effort by the government of Lesotho in improving Non-Formal Education through guidance and advice being given.
He informed the attendees that the ministry is working tirelessly to ensure registration of all centers dealing with Non-Formal Education in the country for the benefit of learners.
