Maseru, June 20 — Maluti Mountain Brewery (MMB) and Lesotho Tourism Development Corporation (LTDC) have responded positively to the Minister of Tourism, Sports, Arts and Culture, Mr. Motlatsi Maqelepo’s earnest call for Basotho as individuals and collectively to sponsor senior national side Likuena.
MMB and LTDC handed over apparel for Likuena that was handed To the Minister at the press conference held at the Post office building in Maseru on Wednesday.
The apparel include sweaters and T-shirts embedded with ‘visit Lesotho’.
Addressing the media at the handing over ceremony, Mr. Maqelepo said sports is a unifying factor where Basotho from across their religious and tribal differences come together in the spirit of unity.
