Maseru, June 20 — Advocate Ben Mokobori says, in records before the Commission of inquiry at Maseru Central Correctional Institution (MCCI) there is nowhere where he has misled witnesses.
He said this when cross examining MCCI Assistant Commissioner Tsoto Manaka in Maseru on Thursday. This after Mr. Manaka was able to identify the name of the Recruit on the footage (client to the Advocate).
He felt that the fellow on the reflector jacket as alleged by Mr. Manaka is not his client, indicating unlike with previous clients, the Commission led by Advocate Realeboha Mathaba including Evidence Leader went an extra mile to ensure the Assistant Commissioner identifies the one on reflector jacket by name.
However, Mr. Manaka is adamant that such a Recruit on the reflector is Advocate Mokobori’s client who today was seated next to the Advocate. “I also saw your client clearly on the footage especially, where he was wearing a beret,” he stressed.
