Maseru, Sept 28. – The Maseru Municipal Council (MMC) Returning Officer of Independent Electoral Commission (IEC), Mr. Mokete Makhatha says, they are ready for local government elections tomorrow.
Upon arrival at the MMC office based at Sefika High School, Mr. Makhatha explained that it is expected that by 07:00am, all electoral divisions will commence duty as preparations are going well.
Meanwhile, he reiterated that yesterday’s advanced voters process went well as all who had registered managed to vote, that is a total of two at Thetsane MMC 07 and a total of three at Abia MMC 12 respectively.
