MUSA FACES MURDER CHARGE

Mohale’s Hoek, Jan. 22 — A 28 year-old man Ts’eliso Ntjaonye ‘Musa from Mpharane Ponts’eng who is charged with the alleged murder of ‘Masekhoyana Pakela has been remanded in custody pending DPP’s directive.

 Evidence before the court shows that on or upon May 2021, the accused unlawfully and intentionally shot the deceased to death, therefore is charged with contravening  Section 40 (1) and (2) of Penal Code Act No:6 of 2010 and is expected to be back in court on July 30.

The case is before Chief Magistrate Manyathela Kolobe and Mats’episo Masithela for Crown Counsel.

On the other hand a 39 year-old man Relebohile Lebaka who pleaded not guilty to contravening Section 58 e, of Police Service Act of 1988 is expected to be back in court on July 16.

Lebaka who is out on M500.00 bail is reported to have insulted one traffic officer, then recounted the latter to go home and take off his uniform so that they could get into a fight, after the officer found him parking his vehicle at an area where it was not supposed to have been parked.
