Maseru, Nov. 29 – The National Assembly closed Sine die on Friday for Christmas holidays. This motion was moved by the Leader of the House, Justice Nthomeng Majara who was seconded by Advocate Lekhetho Rakuoane.
Prior to closure, the House deliberated on emanating issues that topped the agenda, namely visit of United Nations (UN) Secretary General and Basotho Action Party (BAP) alleged disharmony amongst others.
In his address, the Speaker who wished all members well throughout recession, Mr. Tlohang Sekhamane said it is anticipated that the UN Secretary General will visit Lesotho on December 12-13, 2024 and will address both Senators and National Assembly members…
