Qacha’sNek, Mar.05—A 21-year old man of Makhalong, Koali Shao’s has been jailed following his bail hearing rescheduled to March 06.
This is after the Public Prosecutor Advocate Tsotang Maile opposed his bail application saying rape is a serious offence and bail should be granted in exceptional circumstances indicating that it is for justice sake.
“It was proven beyond reasonable doubt that the suspect may skip the country and not stand trial to finality if freed as he has been in South-Africa since July when the case was reported,” he said.
