Maseru, Nov. 19 — The House of the Senate has resumed its duties today following a brief adjournment. The recess allowed members of the College of Chiefs to attend a retreat aimed at deliberating on issues central to their governance roles and responsibilities.
Speaking to the Agency, Senator Seabata Motsamai revealed that during the recess, they held discussions with the Minister of Law and Justice and his officials.
He said the meeting sought clarity on amendments to legislative Bills, particularly focusing on the 11th Amendment to the Constitution. Senator Motsamai pointed out concerns that several clauses amended by the Senate were excluded from the Bill’s final version. . .
