Botha-Bothe, June 04 — Ts’ekelo Moshoeshoe 29 of Sebipela has been sentenced to pay a fine of M5000.00 or two years imprisonment which he was not able to pay and will serve sentence at the Botha-Bothe Lesotho Correctional Service.
The accused was charged for contravening the provisions of Section 65 (1)(2) read with Section 109 of Penal Code Act No.6 of 2010 (House Breaking with intent to steal or theft).
According to the court, on May 22, 2026 at Ha Shepeseli the accused broke into the house of Mpeo Nqhai and stole a two legged pot, a saw, spade and two axes. The items are said to be valued at M2000.00.
The accused pleaded guilty to the charge and therefore sentenced.
On another case, Motho Mphutlane (30) of Sekubu-Moreneng has been granted bail of M2500.00 which he was able to pay after appearing before the Botha-Bothe Magistrate Court on account of planning and delivery Moseloane Sefatsane to have sexual intercourse with Ikhetheleng Taemane (20)
According to the court on May 26, 2026 the accused at old Elangene produced the commission to incite, instigate or command unlawfully sexual Act. The accused has been charged for contravening the provisions of Section 7 read with Section 32(a)(III) of the Sexual Offences Act No.3 of 2023.
