SUSPECTED WITCHCRAFT GRAVES STIR FEAR IN MOEENG VILLAGE

Qacha’s Nek, July.14 — A chilling discovery of two suspected graves in Moeeng, Ha Mohlapiso has left residents gripped with fear, as police investigate what they believe could be an act of witchcraft.

The two pits, found on Sunday just outside the village, were initially thought to be baby graves.

However, upon inspection, police retrieved a disturbing combination of items: two pairs of women’s panties, two pairs of socks, and two candles, one red and one white — each buried in a separate pit.

In an interview with the Agency, Detective Inspector Thabo Setenane, head of the Criminal Investigation Division (CID) at Qacha’s Nek Police Station, confirmed the bizarre findings. . . .
