Qacha’s Nek, Oct.09 — The Lerato Preschool teacher is in trouble for brutally beating a pupil.
In an interview with the Agency, Police Constable (P/C) Rets’elisitsoe Mohlalisi’s investigation reveals that a three-year-old boy was brutally beaten allegedly because he defecated on himself leaving him bruised on his buttocks.
P/C Mohlalisi said investigations are still ongoing and no arrests have been made so far.
Both the victim and perpetrator will not be named for ethical reasons.
He appealed to guardians to stop beating children when they have wronged but rather be disciplined through communication.
“Children are supposed to be treated rightfully as children particularly when they are in an early stage still trying to learn certain thing,” he said.
