TEAM MEMBERS ACQUIRE SKILLS ON CASE STUDY MANAGEMENT 

Mafeteng, Sept. 06 — At least 40 members of the District Child Protection Team will attend a one week training on Child Protection starting from Monday to Friday next week.

The training to be held at Mount Maluti Hotel in Mohale’s Hoek is expected to attract participants from the Child and Gender Protection Unit of the Lesotho Mounted Police Service, different officials from government ministries dealing with children’s issues including representatives from non-governmental organizations.

In an interview with the Child Welfare Officer, Ms. Relebohile Mohapi said the initiative is aimed at providing the trainees with skills and knowledge of dealing with children cases until the referral stage where such victims should receive assistance.
