Qacha’s Nek, May.08 — Qacha’s Nek value chain players have accepted Rural Self-Help Development Association (RSDA)’s proposal on organic product certification development in Lesotho.
They accepted the proposal at a consultative meeting intended to introduce the Participatory Guarantee System (PGS), discussion on its structures, roles, responsibilities as well as presentation of East African Organic Products Standards (EAOPS) held at FTC on Wednesday.
Speaking at the event, RSDA Field Supervisor Mr. Seokho Lekoatsa said they resorted to adopting these standards to advance agriculture in Lesotho through organic farming. . .
