Maseru, May 02 — At least two men are in police custody in relation to the murder of a woman and her two sons of Ha Mafa, Mahloenyeng in Maseru district.
This was disclosed by the Lesotho Mounted Police Service (LMPS) Spokesperson Senior Superintendent Kabelo Halahala on Thursday in an interview where he said that the duo aged between 19 and 24 who reside at Kholokoe Matsieng were arrested on Wednesday.
He said that as soon as investigations have been completed the suspects will be taken to court.
Meanwhile, the Agency has learned from a reliable source that another suspect aged 21 also from Kholokoe was handed over at Morija police station this morning (Thursday) by his father.
‘Mathato Majeoa aged about 47 was killed around 12 midnight on Sunday together with her two sons aged seven and 12 before their single rondavel house was torched.
The incident has brought the number of people shot in Mahloenyeng to 51 since 2017.
