Maseru, Dec.12 — During his visit in Lesotho as per invitation by the Prime Minister, the United Nations (UN) Secretary General Mr. Antōnio Guterres paid a courtesy call on the Prime Minister Mr. Ntsokoane Matekane was well as meeting Lesotho’s Cabinet at the State House in Maseru on Thursday.
Speaking in an interview with the Agency, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Relations Mr. Lejone Mpotjoane said that this visit comes after the Prime Minister passed an invitation to the UN Secretary General to come celebrate Lesotho’s bicentennial celebrations.
He stated that it is during this visit that Mr. Guterres will get to see some of the challenges that Lesotho is faced with such as the decrease in water levels within reservoirs due to climate change. . .
