Qacha’sNek, June 07 — Heads of Departments (HODs) have applauded a business mogul, Mr. Ts’otleho Sehloho of Manti Sehloho Contruction and Projects for donating a GD6 vehicle, balls and football jersey to Lesotho Mounted Police Service (LMPS) Qacha’s Nek.
The gifts were given to the Local Government, Chieftainship, Home Affairs Minister Lebona Lephema in the presence of Commissioner of Police, Advocate Borotho Matsoso along with Qacha’s Nek DISPOL Superintendent Thembinkose Sibanda during the 21 km Mountain Marathon launch in Maseru late last month.
Speaking during a monthly HOD meeting, Superintendent Sibanda said the car is still in Maseru for paperwork and he believes that following that, it will be transported to the district.
“This noble gesture caught me off guard as it was a surprise. My invitation to the launch had no specifications about the gifts for Melele,” he said.
