Qacha’sNek, May.31— A now 22 year-old Motlalepula Rakolobe of Qabane, Ha Phalo has been slapped with a 10-year jail term without an option of a fine for raping a woman in her fifties.
Resident Magistrate ‘Mampho Mokoena of the Qacha’sNek Magistrate’s Court did not accept his mitigation.
Rakolobe, Resident Magistrate Mokoena heard , raped the woman on Christmas day of 2022.
The court heard that the victim hosted a get together with her friends where there was free Sesotho traditional home brewed beer and Rakolobe joined later already drunk. . .
