KING ACCEPTS LETTERS OF CREDENCE FROM ANGOLA, SAHRAWI

Maseru, Mar. 13 — King Letsie III accepted letters of credence from Angola Ambassador to Lesotho Mr. Rui Orlando Ferreira De C. Da Silve Xavier and Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic to Lesotho Mr. Mohamed Yelslem Beisat Deich at the Royal Palace on Wednesday.

Accepting letters of credence from Mr. Silve Xavier, the King said the presence of new Ambassador is a positive signal of Angola’s commitment to reinforce bonds of cooperation between the two countries, expressing hope that during his tenure of Office, relations will grow from strength to strength and allow both countries to explore other bonds of cooperation.

He urged Ambassador Xavier to establish a framework structure of cooperation to enable the two countries explore in Tourism, Education and other areas, expressing hope that efforts of Angola President, who is also the Chairman of African Union for Peace and Reconciliation in finding everlasting peace in Democratic Republic of Congo and Mozambique will bear fruits so that African continent could achieve socio-economic development. . .
