Maseru, Feb 15 – The World Bank facilitated a meeting regarding the collaboration between Lesotho and South Africa on the matters of border trades.
While officially opening this workshop, the Minister of Trade, Industry and Small Business development Mr. Mokhethi Shelile outlined the objectives of the workshop to focus on joint risk and enforcement activities and transit of imports and exports across the border connecting the two countries.
He declared that there is still a lot of work to be done as trade is one of the top priorities Lesotho wants to establish with the Border Management of South Africa (BMSA) with the help of the World Bank Group and their long-standing collaboration and in partnership with the Private Sector, as the workshop is set to run for two days. . .
