Maseru, May 08 — Mabote pay point, where elderly people receive their grants was officially closed by the Minister of Gender, Youth and Social Development Mr. Pitso Lesaoana on Wednesday.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Lesaoana stressed that this was the last time elderly people receive their grants at this pay point, saying those who have not registered and paid digitally yet will from next month receive their grants at Maseru Post Office and Pitso Ground.
He reminded elderly people that digital payment will not only safe them travelling costs but will protect them against unfavourable weather conditions during pay days. . .
